Hello Captains, this is a guide pertaining details about the enemies on mob floors. This is the sub guide for Valkyrie recommendations based on lightning weather. It is highly encouraged for your DPS valkyries to be PSY and non-Lightning. However, if you find more confidence in using MECH valkyries, that is alright as well. For general information about mobs and utilizing unaffected valkyries in weather, you can find them in the main guide located at the section "Other related Weather Guides".

Valkyries handpicked for Lightning Weather

Listed here are support valkyries for the Lightning Weather. Please note, just because the valkyries are listed here doesn't mean that they cannot be used in other weathers.

Celestial Hymn

A top tier physical support. Can 50% impair anytime you want on point easily. Her ultimate gathers and inflicts 75% impair; however costly. With Judah, she can keep mobs in place and from surrounding you. While with 11th, she can increase the critical rate of your team even further, thus providing more damage.

Valkyrie Chariot

A gatherer valk. At 50sp, she can cast an ultimate that can gather troops in a large radius, as well as bleed if her rank is high enough. 

Valkyrie Ranger
        

With proper stigmatas, she can easily round up elite mobs and duo elites mobs for quick gathering without wasting sp and time to gather them all up. This is really good since there can only be a limited number of elite mobs out at a time. In addition, she can easily proc the QTE of another valk in her team.

Wolf's Dawn

A support who starts to shine starting at ss rank. Her passive barrier that she provides for her team can provide up to +30% Elemental DMG while it's up. 

Divine Prayer

A healer and provides passive 80% impair to a random single target when not in battle. Great for fighting against fights with only 1-2 enemies possible in the battle. Healing allows your valkyries to recover a fight that could drag out for too long and/or is a bit more difficult than usual. And at SSS rank, she can prevent a teammate from potential death and therefore a potential failure. 

Sakura Rondo

A valkyrie best suited for supporting a fire team. With Super Sonata, she can increase her team's Elemental DMG. Furthermore, at SS rank, she gains the skill Let's Dance that increases her team's Elemental DMG even more when she activates a cross. Also easily the best igniter for mass amounts of mobs with her combo against sakura branded enemies. 

Phoenix

A top tier support (and also a DPS) of the Lightning weather. As leader, her team gains (10/13/16)% Attack Speed. Teams with 3 psychic-type characters gain (28/32/36)% total damage dealt to combo, charged, and ultimate attacks. Her leader skill is nothing to scoff at. At S rank, she gets the Rainbow Pinion skill, and at SS rank, she gets Oriole skill. Her skill set increases her team's elemental DMG significantly. 

Yamabuki Armor

Her leader skill increases your team's crit rate based on combo count and psychic valkyries get more crit DMG. Her quick-tap basic attack imposes a 30% impair for 10s. In addition, her passive barrier protects your valkyries from physical dmg, allowing them to stay safe longer.  
 

Team Recommendations:
The teams provided here are designed to adapt to the Lightning Weather. Because many supports and their gear can be used depending on the enemy, the supports and their gear can be shuffled around from the provided teams. In lightning weather, there are only MECH enemies but with +50% resistance to Lightning DMG. Therefore, psychic valkyries that do not use Lightning are your best choices against your foes here. 

Example 1:

Phx/BR/WD

Main Gear: Cinder Hawk, Thales T, Nuwa M, Planck B
Substitutes: Grips of Tai Xuan, Higomaru TB, Shakespeare M, Shigure Kira Full Set, Yodo Dono M, Naoe Kanetsugu T, Bronya Magic B, Mei Pool Party, Newton B, Schrodinger Band B

Main Gear: Blood Dance, Thales TM, Fuxi B
Substitutes: Crimson Queen, Sunfire, Xuanyuan Sword, Surtr, Dragon Spine, Planck T, Shakespeare M, Yodo Dono M, Bronya Magic B 

Main Gear: Book of Fuxi, Jin Shengtan Full Set
Substitutes: Quantum Destroyer Type-II, Markov Type A, Roald Amundsen Full Set, Mei Pool Party, Newton B

If you lack a method to provide heals for BR, you can replace either Phx or WD with DP. In this team, Phx and BR can support each other as they DPS while WD is the main support. Leading off with Phx, everyone's atk speed and certain attacks will be increased significantly. Phx's leader skill has a lot of synergy with BR since the psychic valkyrie BR's attacks mostly are charged and Ultimate attacks. WD is there to ignite with Book of Fuxi while setting up a Jin Shengtan Field. BR can further support with Blood Dance's Skill or Phx can support with her built in skills. Then Phx or BR (or both) can land tons of Fire DMG against opponents. 


Example 2: 

YA/DP(or VR)/UR

Main Gear: Raider Missiles, Gustav TM, Newton B
Substitute: Hand of Tyr, Markov Type A, Lurker, Mei Pool Party M, Tesla Band T, Theresa Origins Full Set

Main Gear: Mjolnir, Tesla Band T, Mei Pool Party M, Newton B
Substitute: 2nd Relic, Thunder Kikaku, Xuanyuan Pistols, Shamash, Artemis's Guardian, Theresa Origins Full Set, Galileo TMB, Dark Jixuanyuan TMB, Gustav TM.

Main Gear: Aphrodite, Wilde Full Set
Substitute: Senescence, Planck TMB, Zorro MB, Mei Pool Party M, Newton B, Attila B, Elizabeth Bathory B, Tesla Band T, Michelangelo TB, Ekaterina M, Galileo TMB, Ryunosuke Akutagawa

 

This team here has 2 supports and 1 DPS. Because there are only MECHs to face, focusing all resources onto UR is ideal. YA is leader to promote crit rate and crit DMG. The increased crit rate also promotes DP's chances of healing, which UR enjoys after sacrificing some HP for using her combo skill. YA's barrier also protects her team here. Optionally, DP can be replaced with VR depending on the type of battle (in that case, engage in battle with VR before YA). UR's qte trigger is impair. YA's quick tap attack invokes a 30% impair, DP's weapon can impair, and DP's passive ability impairs when she is not out. The way to use this team is to have YA set up Gustav's curse field with her very low sp cost weapon skill from Raider Missiles. Then quickly switch to DP to invoke impair with her weapon skill and go into UR via QTE. UR can proceed to shred through the MECHs until all the support set ups expire. Then the cycle can repeat once again until the battle finishes. 


Example 3:


6S/VR/SS

Main Gear: Tranquil Arias, Nohime Full Set
Substitutes: Water Spirit II, Shigure Kira Full Set, Tesla M, Roald Amundsen Full Set, Edwin Hubble Full Set, Jin Shengtan 2-3 Set, Shakespeare B, Lier Scarlet T, Mei Pool Party M, Fuxi T

Main Gear: Artemis's Guardian, Zhuge Kongming T, Mei Pool Party M, Isaac Newton B
Substitutes: Water Spirit II, Shakespeare MB, Celine Ascendant M, Wang Zhaojun MB, Jin Shengtan 2-3 Set; Stigmatas that either increase your team's DMG and/or proc their QTE.

Main Gear: Hand of Tyr, Schrodinger T, Mei Pool Party M, Isaac Newton B
Substitutes: Markov Type A, Summer Day Full set, Tesla Band T, Tesla M, Sakamoto Ryoma M, Jixuanyuan T, Sloth B, Wang Zhaojun B, Jin Shengtan 2-3 Set, Fuxi T; Stigmatas that at least increase your PHY dmg and maybe SP.

With 6S as the leader, she can boost her team's Elemental DMG. VR starts off the battle and gathers enemies with her Ultimate Evasion. Then VR can either use Water Spirit II to freeze the enemies for SS to dish a bit more dmg to upon switching, or she can use Artemis to lift & time lock them to proc SS's freezing QTE. SS can then use Tyr's weapon skill to cause some amount of dmg to shield break (keep in mind shield break is the QTE trigger for 6S). Quickly use SS's ultimate to keep enemies frozen for a much longer time. Immediately change to 6S to dish out DMG with her Ultimate against the clustered frozen enemies. Try to have 6S regain her SP until the enemies are thawed out. Repeat this until you win. If 6S is having troubles against BIO enemies, SS can take over to finish them off, with or without the help of VR.
