Hey, Captains! This is volume 6 of the Essentials guide series! This guide is designed for Captains curious about what they should prioritize for the end game. Please note that at the time of writing this, it is v4.8 and written from the perspective of a competitive player. The purpose of this guide is to answer the questions:
”What’s worth farming for?”
”Am I going to get a lot of value out of this?”
”Based on what I have, what should I strive for?”
”Whom is/are this good for?”
Volume 6 is dedicated to the PRI-ARMs portion of these questions. There are a lot of different PRI-ARMs, so their usages and recommendations will be distinguished. Hopefully, after reading this, you will have an idea of what you want to get that is worth your time and resources.
And because this is volume 6, you may notice some overlapping and conflicting information from the previous volumes. Any information in this guide supersedes the former, otherwise, they are still relevant.

Upon hitting lv81+, you can access PRI-ARMs. All PRI-ARMs require the same amount of materials to obtain and max out:
*Only lv.50 weapons of the same type (example: Crafting a Pistols PRI-ARM requires a lv.50 Pistols-type weapon) and have consumed Honkai Cubes to upgrade.
In addition, you must have owned the predecessor-weapon that the PRI-ARM is based on, at one point, during your account’s lifetime. You can check if you’ve owned the weapon before via your Weapon’s Library found in your accounts page.
However, Divine Key PRI-ARMs only accept their predecessor-weapon as crafting material and can only be crafted once. At the time of writing, these three weapons fall under this category:
Before diving into PRI-ARMs, I believe Support PRI-ARMs are more important than DPS ones due to their higher versatility in various situations and teams, but the worst support PRI-ARM is not necessarily better than the best DPS PRI-ARM. In addition, you can assume you want to craft a PRI-ARM only once for almost all cases.
However, if the weapon-in-question has a role in the other department of DPS or Support, it will be mentioned as well.
Most DPS PRI-ARMs are typically only designed for their signature valkyrie while the statement “only get the weapon if you own the valkyrie” remains true.
At the time of writing this, the PRI-ARMs of Nebulous Duality and Iris of the Dreams have been announced. At first glance, I, at the very least, recommend these two PRI-ARMs.
Returning players and/or players looking forward to the meta end game can have a difficult time knowing what is relevant or still relevant now. The Essentials Guide vol.6 addresses this issue by presenting players with an updated list of PRI-ARMs they may wish to focus on. I recommend players to get the "highly recommended" PRI-ARMs first and foremost.
